The Fragrant Garden: Lilac

This is an old favorite for fragrant gardens. It is now available in most shades of pink, blue, purple and white. The scent is heavenly as are the clusters of blooms. I couldn't grow these in Houston (too hot), but am looking forward to growing one here in Charlotte.
